Ancient prophets were wrong! In 2012 the end of the world didn’t happen, and the happy humanity (more precisely, its best part) continued to enjoy the delights of peaceful life. Of course, war in the Middle East didn’t stop for a single minute—dark Afghans refused to understand the need for democracy and invented new ways to destroy their liberators. A bloody Iranian regime stubbornly refused to collapse under the weight of its own crimes, and in general the crusade against terrorism dragged on.

And then Turkey suddenly decided to restore the Ottoman Empire, and Russia suddenly remembered that it had once been a superpower. But the United States—the beacon of world democracy—valiantly kept resisting new challenges, sending their soldiers to different ends of an uneasy world and not noticing the delayed mines at its own doorstep… As it turns out, it did concern them—after all, that’s a mistake…
