A Man Returns from the Past

On Konechnaya Street in the city of Sofia, the body of Ivan Medarov is found. The death looks like an accident, but later it is established that Medarov was killed by electric shock.

Investigation begins under Petr Antonov, who discovers that the victim, during the years of the fascist occupation, had been implicated in major embezzlements through the trading enterprise “Comet.” The investigator concludes that the roots of the crime lie in the distant past.
