A top-class forensic pathologist, Max, lives by his job. He comes home only to sleep for a couple of hours. He won’t even answer you what color the blinds in his kitchen are. At the crime scene, though, the exact opposite is true: he can spot the tiniest details in a flash—whether it’s how worn the victim’s shoe soles are or all shades of yellowed teeth, and he’ll most likely tell you the reasons for the yellowing as well. In girls, he usually sees a biological mass in kilograms and the most vulnerable places for stabbing wounds. However, life will present him with an unexpected test that will overturn everything familiar and ordinary—and force Max to admit that he has such an important organ as a heart.
