A year and a half has passed since the high-profile Rag Doll case was solved, and Detective Emily Baxter believes it is behind her. However, a new wave of murders suddenly sweeps over London and New York, bearing the hallmarks of the “puppeteer” maniac. Each time, two victims are found: one has the word “Bait” carved into the chest, the other — “Puppet.” Scotland Yard and the FBI make every effort to find the invisible puppeteer. Yet every small step toward the truth is accompanied by an avalanche of new victims. What will they have to do to stop the bloodshed?
