Technopolis. The home of the House of Techno, which managed to preserve and multiply the technologies of the Exodus—an outpost of science and civilization of Aurora. That is exactly where my path from the Edge of Eternal Volcanoes leads, and that is exactly where I must get answers—if not to every question, then at least to part of them. The truth is, for that I’ll have to work. The city is in no hurry to share its secrets, and even the shadow of Darkness hanging over the Technopolis does not make its inhabitants more cooperative. Though, of course, it’s not surprising: the Technos are clearly playing their own game, and they definitely won’t be thrilled by the Second Coming of the Forerunner. Well then… it seems I’ll have to rip the City of Clever Ones’ secrets out of it—if necessary, even by force—against its will. But why do I still feel like I’ve trapped myself here voluntarily?
