Quicksands of Fate

Kira Ermolaeva contacted the detective agency “Kairos” after she began to be stalked by her own doubles. The detective Ivan Rybak, who spoke with her, suggested establishing surveillance, but Kira was frightened by the high costs and ran away. And soon—at “Kairos”—Kira’s husband, Gleb, appeared and announced that she had died: she had gone to another city to meet a father who had long left the family, and there she became a victim of a “mad taxi driver” who knocked down several people at once.
