It all started with the Wolf eating the Rabbit. A classic. Only everything isn’t so simple—otherwise there wouldn’t be an entire book, exciting and interesting. And there wouldn’t be an ending—unexpected and baffling.
The first book in the Anna Starobynets series “Brutal Detective.” “In the Wolf’s Den” 02:01:11
Someone killed the Rabbit. So much so that only a piece of fluffy tail remained. Who is the killer? Two fearless policemen from the Far Forest—Badger Senior and Badger Kit—follow the trail. And they unravel the case no worse than Sherlock Holmes with Dr. Watson. The clues are tangled, there are several suspects, but the policemen have something that no one can defeat—brutal logic!
The second book. “The Right of the Predator” 01:47:36
This is a child-friendly light version of Orwell’s great work “Animal Farm.” Here’s the setup. There are predators from the Far Forest. And there are domestic animals in Nina Palna’s village, including chickens. The chickens are convinced that Nina Palna loves them—so every week she chooses the very best hen and carries her off to a better life. The peace of the village animals is guarded by dogs, which require compliance with an agreement between the predators and the village—not to eat chickens!
And one day the Fox grabs a chicken and brings it to the Far Forest. Not to kill it—just to bring it. The Fox is reprimanded by the policemen Badger and Badger Kit. And at the same time, the chicken is told that Nina Palna isn’t as sinless as she seems. And then a revolt begins on all sides. The chicken runs to her fellow hens to open their eyes to the terrible truth. The dogs, sensing conflict, decide to organize a persecution and hunt for the predators of the Far Forest. What a difficult task falls on our policemen Badger Senior and Badger Kit! They need to reconcile everyone—right away!
The third book — “Claws of Anger” 03:18:58
The third detective story about residents of the Far Forest—always captivating. In the new book, the thugs-cats from the gang “Claws of Anger” kidnap the beloved of policeman Badger Kit—a tender little cat—and demand an enormous ransom for her. Badger Kit is ready for anything, even to lose his job and commit an offense. Only… it seems the little cat isn’t exactly a victim. So what awaits the forest inhabitants who want to live safely and calmly sip their mojitos at the “Stub” bar?"
