Sorge: Under the Sign of the Sakura

Richard Sorge is one of the greatest spies of the 20th century. His name is included in the list of a hundred world-famous people who influenced the course of world history in the last century. The most productive period of his activity was the late 1930s, when he worked in Japan. Sorge managed to do what no one else had managed—push the Japanese war machine away from our borders in the Far East, as a result of which a whole, well-equipped and trained army was transferred to the front near Moscow. The Germans were defeated at the walls of the capital.
