“St. Peter’s Umbrella” is a novel by Hungarian literature classic Kálmán Mikesza (1849–1910). This story is about how wealthy Pál Gregorich, trying to secure his illegitimate son and fearing greedy relatives, hides his enormous fortune in the handle of an old umbrella. But his son, Dúlа, doesn’t find happiness in wealth. Searching for the umbrella, he encounters the true treasure—a charming Veronika.
