Golden Bonfires

1 hr. 42 min.
Description
Sushkin is offended that he has been forgotten. When they put into practice a new production idea, his name wasn’t even mentioned—yet it was he who was the initiator of many innovations. His resentment made him retire. But then his life took a dramatic turn. Once he took in a homeless boy. Now the boy grew up and became director of the largest metallurgical plant, an academician, and a deputy of the Supreme Soviet. He invited Sushkin to return to the factory, but the resentment turned out to be stronger. And then, suddenly, this man died. Only then did Sushkin go back to the furnace. He understood that now wasn’t the time to sit at home.
