The Golden Web

In this place, cell phones don’t work and there is no internet. Yet tourists happily travel from all over the world to a faraway island just to admire the anomalous multicolored clouds. And few people know that life is boiling even in the Upper world: collectors gather sunlight, weavers turn golden thread into magical spiderweb that holds clouds in place, patchers fix holes… But when the Keeper’s daughter falls in love with a person, the solar web starts to creep and unravel. To save her world, Vaare has to come down from the sky to the terrible earth. And there she must find out where love is true—and where it’s only a golden glimmer on the water.
