Zoya's Apartment

Zoya organizes a sewing workshop in her apartment, which is actually a cover for illegal business. She dreams of saving enough money to move to France. At first everything goes well, and among the clients appears an important person—the director of the trust for refractory metals Gus-Remontny. By accident, he recognizes in one of the workers of the establishment his long-time love, Alla. The plot takes an unexpected turn, and in the end Zoya is arrested. As she says goodbye to the apartment, she says: “Farewell, farewell, my apartment.”
