In the house of Alice Karsavin, right around Christmas, a ghost seems to have appeared. And apparently a nasty one—shooting at guests! Or maybe it’s the secret enemy of the owner, taking revenge for something against his friends? One of the invited guests, Mieczysław, an author of detective novels, tries to figure out what’s going on. Soon even Alice himself dies—and everything is staged as a suicide.
