In a Hollywood restaurant, a maniac shoots the patrons and then commits suicide by putting a bullet into his temple. Supposedly, everything is clear: a lone psychotic who carried out a terrible massacre is dead, and the case can be closed. However, based only on guesses and minor inconsistencies, with no evidence or proof, Lieutenant Decker puts forward a hypothesis: the shooting in the restaurant was a carefully planned operation meant to disguise the murders of two very specific people.
