After, thanks to the Swedish scientist Bjarnsen, the world received a way to expand the boundary of human vision beyond the infrared range, the geniuses who stood behind the discovery began to leave our world one after another.

Bjarnsen also dies—and so do those of his friends who knew about the discovery. But the threads connecting the strange phenomena are too thin to notice right away. The new, hitherto unknown world turned out to be not kind. Behind the ominous barrier created by human limited sight lie cruel, omnipotent lords who rule each of us from cradle to grave, invisibly and mercilessly parasitizing on us— the true masters of Earth. Hovering spheres—vitons—shining with a pale blue light. Vitons can read human thoughts, abduct people, and conduct experiments on them, turning them into psychics or into floating objects.
