Friedrich Nietzsche is a German philosopher, a representative of “philosophy of life,” and one of the most original thinkers of the nineteenth century.
Nietzsche called his collection of sayings and aphorisms “Evil Wisdom.” The book was conceived as a selection of maxims containing the foundations of Nietzsche’s philosophy. It brings together vivid thoughts that in many ways echo his famous works—“Thus Spoke Zarathustra,” “The Joyful Science,” “The Dawn,” and “Beyond Good and Evil.”
