Borrowed Life

Clerfay is a racing driver. Visiting a friend in the clinic—another racer—he meets Lillian, who is incurably ill. Tuberculosis leaves her no chance at a long life, but she refuses to wait obediently and resignedly for the inevitable death—Lillian intends to live the last months to the fullest.
