Liquid Sun
A fantastic story by Alexander Kuprin about a bold scientific breakthrough that could overturn people’s ideas about the future.

Young researcher Henry Dibble finds himself in a sealed laboratory in South America. There, a team of scientists under the direction of the eccentric Lord Chalsbury attempts to create a “liquid sun”—a concentrate of incredible energy capable of changing the course of history. However, when human feelings and ambitions intrude on the work, the great discovery begins to turn into danger.

Toast
A short fantastic text by Alexander Kuprin, constructed like a ceremonial speech. In it, the author reflects on humanity’s path and on the triumph of reason, peace, and creative labor. This is a clear, inspiring fantasy about the future—one in which there is room for hope and for major achievements.
