Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe

The acclaimed novel by famous American writer Fannie Flagg tells of women’s friendship—between women who lived in the first half of the last century and women living in our time. Carefully and subtly delving into the psychology of the characters, the author unexpectedly weaves their destinies together—destinies full of dramatic events and everyday concerns, love and hate, victories and defeats.

In 1991, a film was made based on the novel, titled “Fried Green Tomatoes,” which became a huge success worldwide.
