Green Shadows, White Whale

Green Shadows, White Whale

Description
The book “Green Shadows, White Whale” is in many ways autobiographical, and it might not have been written if film director John Huston hadn’t offered Ray Bradbury to write the screenplay for a 1953 adaptation of “Moby-Dick.” After that experience, Ireland became one of Bradbury’s favorite themes, and he dedicated many of his stories to this “ethnic” place.

“Green Shadows, White Whale” is a manifestation of love for people, for the country, and for the people he met many years ago.
