The Green Thumb

On the little-studied planet Nertus, an alien named Joe comes to work for a farmer. This, in general, isn’t unusual. But with this Joe, everything is just too good: he gets along wonderfully with the local plants and animals. Everyone is surprised, and only the farmer’s son, Pit, understands that Joe is far from who he claims to be.
