Here and Now

Tanya Mittel, a single mother from a small German town, after a head injury begins to have recurring nightmares whose meaning she does not understand. In her dream she sees the same people she has never met in real life. A specialist in regression hypnosis helps her understand that in her sleep she is reliving moments from her previous life, when she was a Russian girl named Vera and lived in the previous century in Leningrad.
Caught up in the events happening long ago in Vera’s family, Tanya travels to Saint Petersburg, where the past that is not hers brings real danger to her.
