The Hare's Paws

A boy Vanya brought a hare with burned paws to the village veterinarian. The veterinarian couldn’t help the poor creature, so the boy and his grandfather went to the city doctor. At first he refused to treat the hare, but once he learned from the grandfather its story, he cured the long-eared animal.
