After graduating from the philosophy faculty, Bridgette can’t find a permanent job. However, she’s offered to take care of the architect’s apartment, who left for Estonia. At first it seems like an easy task, given her diverse work experience. But the huge apartment in a fashionable district of Turin turns out to be full of surprises: an antique lamp breaks, she becomes a witness to romantic intrigues and theatrical scandals, she has to communicate with the apartment owner’s ex-wife and his mistress, and also take care of a stranger’s child. Despite all the difficulties, Bridgette—stubborn, unyielding, and with a philosophical view of life—manages to untangle every thread, fix situations, and even find love.
