Bridgette, who has graduated from the philosophy faculty, doesn’t have luck finding a permanent job. One day, she’s offered to take care of an architect’s apartment while he’s away in Estonia. At first glance, it seems like an easy task—after all, Bridgette has worked in all sorts of ways: walking dogs, babysitting and caring for the elderly, cleaning offices, assisting during film shoots… But the huge apartment in the most fashionable district of Turin, with a terrace full of luxurious plants, brings her plenty of surprises. She accidentally breaks an antique lamp, becomes a witness to unimaginable love stories, theatrical scandals, and realtor rivalry. She is forced to deal with the carefree ex-wife and the hysterical mistress of the apartment’s owner, and to look after someone else’s child… The knot of problems grows, becoming even more tangled. But stubborn, upbeat Bridgette—with her philosophical view of life—somehow manages to untangle every thread, fix a thousand situations, and even find love.
