Aleksandra Ruchyeva is a prose writer, editor, and engineer. Born in 1993 in Chebarkul, Chelyabinsk Oblast. “Factory Settings” is her debut novel. From childhood, Sasha knows that working with metal is her calling. Her favorite toys were “junk”—metal parts that her mom and dad brought from the Chebarkul metallurgical plant.
