The fairy tale is written in an easy, truly Russian tale-like style. By all the rules of the fairy-tale genre, it’s clear to the reader: the tale must end with good triumphing over evil. But the plot is spun so wildly that interest doesn’t fade until the very end. The fairy-tale characters, who live long ago in Russia in Svjatograd, face many hardships, but it is the choice of Love—not Power and wealth—that helps them win.
All of this fairy-tale action is accompanied by wonderful original music and songs performed by Nikolai Rastorguev, Viktor Rakov, Pelageya, Aleksey Chadov, Maria Mironova, Pavel Usanov, and Aleksey Petrenko.
