Albert Camus. Notebooks. March 1951 — December 1959.
Camus’s first notebook was started in the mid-1930s, when he was just a little over 20 years old. The last notes were written shortly before his death. Collected together, these entries form a kind of autobiographical record—on the pages of which are preserved twenty-five years of Albert Camus’s life, his literary work, and his days.
