You’ll find clever, subtle humor that in real life often remains outside our perception due to constant rushing, stress, and chronic fatigue. These are simple stories with characters, where each person has a real-life prototype. In these stories, even on complex psychological conflicts—whether conflicts within oneself or contradictions with the surrounding reality—the author looks with an unchanged smile that helps you not go mad in the hardest moments of life.
Evgeny Savin is a graduate of the Journalism Department of Stavropol State University (now the North Caucasus Federal University). Poet, musician, and the ideological inspirer of the neo-romantic band “Unсiya drive” (“Uncia Drive”). For over 10 years he worked in the well-known commercial publishing house “Delovoy Mir,” where he held the position of Director of Promotion. Most of the stories in “Office Prisoner’s Notes” are connected precisely with that period of the author’s life.
For the first time, the book was published in the mid-2000s (self-published). But its print run was so small that no copy of the edition survived. That’s when the first audio version of the book was also released.
