We invite you to listen to works by the poet, painter, and literary critic Maximilian Voloshin performed by Dmitry Bykov.
The audiobook includes Voloshin’s autobiography, written by him in the 1920s, as well as poems mentioned in it, where he laid out his life credo and his attitude toward the state and the world. In the second and third parts, you’ll hear the author’s impressions from trips around Europe and an account of the culture of Crimea. In the fourth part, Voloshin’s lecture "Crucified Russia" is heard—a personal commentary on poems written during the revolution.
And, as is traditional, at the end of the audiobook Dmitry Bykov tells about the author of the read works.
