Brother and sister Oleg and Margarita ride the “Sapsan” train to St. Petersburg. On the way, for an unknown reason, both fall asleep, and when they wake up, they find out they’ve ended up in a completely different city than the one they expected. Walking around the city are tree giants, talking Yorkshiremen, and trolls; in the sky a castle floats with titans, and in the Neva live mermaids, and magic is everywhere. Enchanted St. Petersburg entangles brother and sister in its nets, and with every day it becomes harder and harder to break free from the magical reality. This is a story about a moral choice; betrayal, downfall, rebellion, and purification—about the fact that good is always stronger than evil. And, of course, about how difficult it can sometimes be to return home—to the arms of one’s father. Performed by Victor Zolotonog, an artist of the Russian Spiritual Theatre “Glas”.
