“For My Sister” is Andriy Chaikovsky’s heroic-romantic novella. It is about the times of Tatar raids. Young Pavlus is a brave, courageous boy. After the Tatars take his sister Hanna captive, he goes in search of her to Crimea, passing through many trials in which he had to show both strength, persistence, and ingenuity. In the end, he finds Hanna, and they gain the longed-for freedom.
