The book continues the story about cadets from the novella “At the Turning Point (Cadets).” Describing the life of a cadet of the Moscow Alexander Military School, Aleksey Alexandrovich, Alexander Kuprin recreates in detail the traditions and everyday life of the junker school, the hero’s first experience as a writer, and his first love.
