An inebriated driver collided with a van on the Los Angeles freeway—an unusual accident, because frozen pieces of human bodies fell out of the van. The FBI agent turned to forensic anthropologists, Jane Hall and Stile Lander, to investigate the case. Quickly, they discovered the body fragments belonged to several women, and they had a lead: a surgical plate in the shoulder bone that could help identify one of the women. But their unique skills bring them far too close to the killer, and they realize this investigation may be deadly.
