On September 3, 2026, an unsuccessful assassination attempt was carried out in Moscow against Academician Skvortsov, who worked on top-secret scientific developments. The FSB agents take him under guard, but their plans are thwarted in an unexpected way. The capital of our Motherland has been hit by a nuclear attack! GRU Major Volokhov receives an assignment: at any cost, find Skvortsov in the radioactive ruins of Moscow and deliver him to the Urals, where the last stronghold of Russian statehood has been created.
