Apple Pie with a Mystery

An aspiring pastry chef investigates a poisoning at a food festival in Provence. She must unravel a web of intrigues involving old secrets and family mysteries.

Among green vineyards in the south of France, budding pastry chef Adèle Duval makes her best apple pie for a prestigious gastronomic festival. Shortly after the event begins, one of Adèle’s competitors ends up in the hospital with poisoning—and the girl decides to take the matter into her own hands. With the help of her beloved grandmother and a curious local journalist, she starts unraveling a network of intrigues involving envious cooks, age-old secrets, and even real ghosts from the past. Each new discovery is connected to culinary traditions, bringing to light not only competitors’ secrets, but also family ties no one expected.

On the way to uncovering the mystery, Adèle understands that true happiness lies not only in achievements, but also in friendship, love, and the support of the closest people.
