Description
Autumn of 1888—entered into the world history of crimes as “Autumn of the Knife”… In London’s Whitechapel district, the “invisible man,” the terrifying and elusive Jack the Ripper, began to operate. Alongside the police, journalists of all kinds threw themselves into the investigation—including a young reporter from the newspaper “Star,” writing under the pseudonym Jeb. Fueled by enthusiasm, he took on the role of a private detective, secretly dreaming of the fame of Sherlock Holmes. And first of all, he began composing a psychological portrait of the inhuman criminal capable of such unheard-of atrocities. Following hidden clues that the police ignored, the journalist finally found the trail. The only thing that Jeb completely forgot to think about in the heat of the hunt was what he would do when he found himself face to face with the Ripper…
