The Messenger

Life at Ed Kennedy’s, as they say, didn’t go well. An ordinary taxi driver, a weak card player, and a completely hopeless womanizer—he would probably have spent his life without much sense in a backwater town if, by chance, he hadn’t done a heroic deed, stopping a bank robbery.
That’s when he had to become a messenger.
Who chose him for this role and for what purpose? Ask something simpler.
But his habit of going with the flow helped Ed here too: he meekly walks from house to house and does good to some and harm to others—whatever the nameless, faceless force that chose him as its tool decides. Every mission leaves an indelible mark on his fate, but does it bring him closer to unraveling the mystery?
