I Want to Go to School!

A fun, lively, and somewhat naive book “I Want to Go to School!” is for everyone who loves school adventures. In city N, they created an amazing educational institution where there are no ordinary classes—there are groups of students of different ages selected according to psychological compatibility. Instead of lessons—exciting projects; instead of physical education—classes with the best choreographers or hiking trips into the mountains and into the forest. Teachers treat students with respect, and the students can’t wait to learn even on weekends and during holidays.

But then their school is shut down, and the students are sent into separate classes of a regular secondary school—where, in the eyes of our heroes, the students seem narrow-minded, closed-off, and boring, and the teachers seem cruel and unfair.

So where’s the way out?

A turning point comes when the newcomers finally start to understand that their arrogance is exactly what prevents friendly relations with classmates. Fortunately, the “advanced” students are good at thinking creatively, solving problems, and getting along with people. And the solution is… very soon the most ordinary school becomes extraordinary for them. And now parents hear from their children words long forgotten: “I want to go to school!”
