Diana Arbenina, the leader of the band “Night Snipers,” released an audiobook of poems written by her. The release titled “I Speak. Run” is timed to the collective’s birthday. The tracklist of this unusual album consists of works previously published in the book “Run.” Diana Arbenina read the poems, accompanying herself on the piano. One of the pieces—“In Memory of Grandma” (a poem)—was read by the daughter of the artist, Marta. According to the author, many everyday objects helped her create the record—things that very few of us notice in everyday life. In particular, the phonogram includes the ticking of German clocks, the creaking of floorboards, the noise of cars rushing along the roads, and much more.
