“A Look from Childhood” is a collection of novellas and lyrical sketches arranged in a retrospective order of how they were created. They’re linked into a single narrative line by recurring themes—love, faith, creativity, nostalgia... The main character of the book is the writer himself, emerging before us through the lines of his youthful works. It’s as if we peel off layer after layer of accumulated pain from the author’s soul and, finally, meet that pure and enthusiastic child’s gaze turned toward us from the past.
