Description
The English writer Dave Wallis became known for his dystopian novel “Only Lovers Survived.” In the 1960s, a film based on this book was planned with The Rolling Stones, but the project was never realized.

In Britain, a wave of suicides begins. The situation worsens, and soon adults disappear, leaving London to teenagers. Ernie and his group begin taking over empty apartments, throwing parties, and enjoying life without restrictions. But resources—such as canned food and fuel—run out quickly, and electricity is cut off everywhere. To survive, Ernie and his friends must face the Kings who have taken Windsor Castle, and then leave the city because of an epidemic and try to survive in the wild. Will the new world have a future?

If you were impressed by dystopias like William Golding’s “Lord of the Flies,” José Saramago’s “Blindness,” or Anthony Burgess’s “A Clockwork Orange,” you’ll probably enjoy this book too.
