The Choice Is Yours

An accident occurred on one of the Warsaw streets: the actor Ryszard Buczek, who hosted a popular children’s program, died. Everything suggests he lost control of his car. However, a young journalist, Julita Wujciczka, suspects that someone helped the TV star leave this world. Julita receives an anonymous threat telling her to stay away from this story, but she decides to ignore it… Her life falls apart, but that only strengthens the girl’s determination to find the truth. The further the journalist pushes her investigation, the more shocking facts she learns—not only about Buczek, but also about how the internet works, and how a single malicious program can ruin anyone’s life. The detective thriller by Jakub Szamalek keeps the reader on edge until the very last page, and it also makes you seriously think about the problem of information security.
