Introduction to Antiphilosophy

Introduction to Antiphilosophy

8 hrs. 52 min.
Description
The book is a collection of philosophical essays by the well-known philosopher Boris Groys, in which he examines ideas by such outstanding thinkers of the 19th–20th centuries as Kierkegaard, Šestov, Heidegger, Benjamin, Jünger, Kojève, Derrida, and others. The author notes that their common feature is belonging to the tradition of "antiphilosophy," which is not so much striving to find truth as to assert it and issue "commands." He sees his task as describing the intellectual and existential possibilities that arise from the decision to follow (or not follow) these "commands."
