A far future. A bloody war is underway between the USA and the so-called Asian enclave. The balance shifts in favor of the USA because their scientists have invented a new, effective means against the enemy—self-controlled robots called “claws.” The Asians have no antidote to these deadly mechanisms, and they are already ready to surrender to the mercy of the victors when it turns out that danger and death threaten the Americans themselves.

And it all happens because of mysterious deadly robots that their automated factories started producing—namely, the SECOND model of this robot, indistinguishable from a human…
