Georgiy Ivanovich Gurdjieff is a Russian esoteric thinker, composer, and traveler—author of a complex of distinctive concepts and practices known as "Gurdjieff’s Teaching" or the "Fourth Path."

Gurdjieff wrote three series of works. With the first of these series, titled "An Objective and Impartial Criticism of Human Life, or Tales of Velsaviel to His Grandson," we begin acquainting the listeners.
