All the King’s Men is a novel by the American writer Robert Penn Warren, published in 1946.
The story is about a tough politician who often does not hesitate to use any methods to achieve his goals. The book is based on the biography of the Governor of Louisiana Huey Long.
This work won the 1947 Pulitzer Prize.
The title of the novel is a line from an English children’s rhyme about Humpty Dumpty.
