Description
“Red Shift” is a special spacecraft designed for flights through hyperspace. The ship has a spherical shape and several levels, and on each of them time flows at its own speed. The speed of light aboard the ship is about 10 m/s, and sound is 6 m/s. Receding objects shift toward red, while approaching objects shift toward violet. Gravity bends light waves, so flat surfaces appear concave or convex.
During the flight of “Red Shift,” a passenger named Jenny Saunders was murdered on board; shortly after, one of the crew members disappeared. Jason, the first officer of the captain, sets out to investigate these crimes.
