Everything Depends on the Cats

Get out of the city before they lower the barrier… And most importantly—don’t forget the cat. Because everything in life depends on cats. At least that’s true for Tanyka, the heroine of this novella. And then reality starts twisting into a motley whirl of events: it flares up, clinks with tambourines, whistles sharply into both ears, and shoots away with joy of the soul. Faces flash in the whirlwind: a gypsy baron, an unsmiling little Cassandra, the approaching knights of disinfection, and some characters whose identities are completely unclear. May snowfall pours down on people’s heads. And in the center of this commotion stands Tanyokha with a cat in her arms.
