A very subtle, funny, and elegant pamphlet about a society in which violence has become the norm, “a great national tradition.”
From the narrator
In 1977, the Soviet writer Lev Davidovich Lukyanov became interested in the problem of the free sale of weapons. In a country with a fairly corrupt government, highly organized crime, and a population not inclined to obey the law. I do not entirely agree with his view of the situation, but sometimes one wants to so much..!
